I have a very wide array of experience that I use in the completion of your projects. It can range from targeting your clients to marketing your products. I have worked in print media for most of my life, but have had years of experience in television and teaching college level visual arts classes in the classroom, and on the internet. Also I have been called upon to create seminars and digital instructional materials for college and private industry.
I am an Adobe expert, and have worked as a Solution Partner for Adobe Systems. My skills in photo retouching are unmatched using Photoshop, and technical illustration in Adobe Illustrator is one of my passions. I am, of course, expert with all of the Adobe Creative products, as well as very familiar with Quark Express and Autodesk's 3D Studio Max.
I have worked as an illustrator for a major teaching hospital in Charleston, SC (Medical University of South Carolina), and also I worked long stretches of time with conventional (printing press/cut sheet) printing, and unconventional large format digital printing (roll fed wide format printing).
I have a degree from Trident Technical College's Visual Arts program, and a Bachelor's Degree for Visual Art from AIU. Although I generally like working for smaller companies and individuals, I have produced work for very large companies such as LeCreuset, Rawle Murdy Advertising, The Oprah Show, Spoleto USA, D.R. Horton, Inc., Piggly Wiggly Carolina, Alltel, Westvaco, Arborgen, Scana, Silverman Consultants, Hill-Rom and others.
In every project I engage with, I like to work quickly to serve my customers. The feeling of not having done all I can do to finish my client's work drives me to push hard to complete projects ahead of schedule. I always do my best to save my customers money on services and products by doing the research needed to provide the best products at the lowest prices. The work I do in order to accomplish this is very self gratifying for me. I feel that every dollar I save for my client will ultimately make its way back to me in the form of repeat business. You will find that I will not stop until you are happy with your products.
Beyond work, I most like to use my photography skills to make candid portraits and for landscape photography. When I am not taking pictures, I like to travel and spend time with my family. I find fresh air and peaceful surroundings important to maintain a balance with a hectic work schedule. I like horseback riding, and water activities, hiking and sight-seeing. Most of all, I like sharing my experiences with my friends, and experiencing new things.
The struggle to integrate into Norway is now my biggest challenge, and if history is a teacher then I will be soon comfortable here, and partaking in all Norway has to offer. Please feel free to contact me by clicking on the icons next to my logo, and I hope to get to know you soon.
